Hot Liquor Tank

Grain brewers use a hot liquor tank to boil strike or sparge water.
Strike water is the water that is initially mixed with malted grains to form a mash. Sparge is the water used to rinse spent grains.

Common temperature: 168°F to 212°F (boiling)
