Check-Set Trade In Program

Thank you for using the Tel-Tru Check-Set Calibrator for your temperature measurement verification needs. The Check-Set has been in production for over 2 decades and unfortunately, over the years, several of the critical components used in older models have become obsolete. Due to the uncertain availability of these parts, your unit may be impacted. We want to make you aware of these limitations so that you can plan accordingly.

Older units

The extended warranty is only valid for Check-Set units 1-9 years old. We are still able to offer recertification and repair for models 10-14 years old, however due to obsolete components, there will be a flat rate fee.

15+ year-old units

If your unit is 15 or more years old, we will no longer be able to service the unit with either a recertification or repair due to the obsolete components required.

In order to ensure uninterrupted service, we would like to extend a special trade-in offer:

• We will replace your existing unit with a new model at 10% off the purchase price of a replacement with features equal to or better than the original.
• We will include the first recertification free of charge (a $240 value for all models). This complementary recertification will be available upon receipt of your trade-in unit.
• Your new unit will be sent to you immediately and you can send your old unit in within 30 days of purchase in order to qualify for the free recertification.
• If you have other Check-Set units that are less than 15 years old, you may use this trade-in offer for them as well.
